GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
Please feel free to contact Sandra at the number below if you have any questions. The class will meet for 13 weeks unless an emergency comes up and we have to reschedule. You can join in at any time during the 13-week period, so don't hesitate to join if the sessions have already started.
Cost: $20 (includes workbook)

”The Greater Adam”
Series: The Great Commission, “Apprenticing With Jesus”
Synopsis: During his message, Christian shared with us a Bible Project video, called “The Test,” which shows how the temptation of Jesus fits within the theme of testing/temptation that we see throughout the Biblical Story. If you want to watch the video as a group, you can find it here:
Then Christian shared five principles for how we, as apprentices of Jesus, can follow his example in the temptations we face:
Being tempted is NOT sin, but a call to FIGHT!
Temptation is often about satisfying a good or natural desire, but in the wrong way and in our timing.
When we are weak, temptation is strong–but the Spirit is stronger!
God’s Word is our food and the weapon for our fight.
Trust that God is able to deliver us, and his timing is perfect!

At Cornerstone, we define a disciple as “a follower of Jesus who is learning from Jesus, trusting Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and helping others do the same.” As we continue through the Gospel of Matthew, discuss these questions in your group and/or for personal reflection throughout the week:
What can I/we learn from Jesus in these verses?
How do these verses call and help me/us to trust Jesus?
What attributes about Jesus are evident in these passages, and how can I/we become more like him?
What are some practical ways I/we can help others to learn from, trust, and become like Jesus?
