Children’s Ministry

It is our hope to come alongside parents by providing them with resources, training, and encouragement while providing children and youth with a fun age-appropriate setting, biblical teaching, relationship-building, worship, and service, so that those who believe may join us in following Jesus and making Him known.

Teachers and Leaders, we appreciate you! If you serve in Children’s Ministry, come in your Christmas attire and join us for a time of fellowship, lunch, and gift giving on December 14th! Instead of a gift exchange, we are collecting gifts to bless our local ministries and meet the needs of the CPC, Sarah’s House, and Forever Found. See your invitation (evite) for the needs of each of these ministries, if you feel led to contribute. Please reach out to hdiana@cornerstonesimi.com with any questions. We hope to see you there!

*This event is strictly for individuals who serve in Children’s Ministry. Childcare will be provided for families that serve.

Elementary Service Project - December 15th

We need your help! With Christmas approaching, we’re excited to have a special service activity for our 1st through 5th graders. On Sunday, December 15th, we will be assembling Care Kits for those experiencing homelessness. We are collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, gloves and blankets. These items will be packed during Sunday School, and given to The Samaritan Center who will hand them out to those in need. We hope this will be a huge blessing! Your family can get involved by gathering supplies for these Care Kits. If you have a child in 1st-5th grade and are able to, please bring the items corresponding to your child’s grade. Feel free to reach out to Ciara or email childrens@cornerstonesimi.com with any questions!

1st Grade: Toothbrushes (5 individually packged)

2nd Grade: Toothpaste (5 tubes)

3rd Grade: Socks (5 pairs)

4th Grade: Gloves (5 pairs)

5th Grade: Blankets (2 or more. Used are welcome; Walmart has low priced fleece blankets)

  • Connect ➔

By God’s grace, we are continually being transformed by the work of Jesus, and as a result of that, we want to invite you to know Him and to join us in the beautifully intricate process of being molded into His likeness. We invite you to learn who Jesus is, what He has done, and continues to do for each of us.

  • Commit ➔

We are committed to teaching our kids about God’s character, what it looks like to live by faith, and what it means to be a disciple who makes disciples of Jesus. We are here to serve, love, train, and equip the youth of Cornerstone and invite everybody to live out God’s intended purpose with us.

  • Call ➔

We are committed to helping our kids discover their God-given talents and giftings in which they can make much of Christ. Our desire is to help them grow into maturity by embracing humility and the truth of God’s word to bear good fruit for His Kingdom and make His great name known to those who do not yet know Him!
