All-Student Ministries Children’s Hunger Fund Serving Opportunity

What: ALL Jr. High and High school students are welcome to experience the beginning of something wonderful at Children's Hunger Fund. For those who have never experienced Poverty Encounter, we will have the opportunity from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM on Friday, April 1st. A generous church member has paid the cost, $7, for our students to participate in this activity (and this ain't no joke). Poverty Encounter will open our eyes to realities that millions of people face every day. Your student will gain a unique understanding of what it’s like to live in poverty and will be provided opportunities for a compassionate response. At the end of our tour, there will be an opportunity to aid with Food Paks, bagging bulk beans or pasta, and getting a sense of how CHF addresses global poverty.
*Please arrive at the church at 10 am. We will be returning around 2:15 pm. Due to the time frame, we will be providing lunch on location.
