Community Groups at cornerstone

Live as groups of people committed to Christ, His mission, & each other. Every believer at Cornerstone should be a part of a group of people committed to Christ, His mission, and each other. This enables us to LIVE life together in community, not in isolation. Jesus never intended for us to LIVE the Christian life alone and we suggest that on our own we simply cannot fulfill what was intended for our spiritual growth. We need one another. Being part of a Community Group provides the perfect setting for growth and fellowship and becoming all that we were meant to be in Christ.

The word ‘community’ is a compound word from ‘com’ which means with and ‘unity’ which is obvious! So, a Community Group is a place where we can LIVE life in ‘unity with’ other like-minded followers of Jesus.

There are many types of Community Groups (CG) at Cornerstone. We have Single Adult CGs. We have a College Age CG. We have all kinds of neighborhood CGs. We have numerous Men’s and Women’s CGs with an emphasis on studying God’s Word. We have youth CGs and we are continually starting new groups so, there is certainly a place for you to plug in and LIVE life in community!

Hebrews 10:24-25 says: ‘Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together as some people do but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near ’ (NLT). Make sure you are not neglecting this important part of your spiritual life!

Get Connected in Community!

Life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact, God hates loneliness. You were created to experience life with other people, which is why we encourage you to get into a small group.

A community group is a group of three or more people who gather each week in a home, workplace, or online. In a group you’ll hang out, study the Word, and pray together.

Groups come in all shapes and sizes — married couples, singles, men, women, kids, no kids, workplace, under 20, over 40 — the list goes on. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you. Ready to dive in?

Find a group that fits you or start one of your own.
