August 8 • Monthly Elder Prayer Night , 7:00-8:00 pm
If you are struggling with illness or feel disheartened, overwhelmed, etc., we invite you to join the elders on Tuesday evening in the MPR from 7:00-8:00 pm so that they can pray over you. If you are unable to make it in person, you can submit a prayer request below. We would love to pray for you!
August 19 • Set Free Recovery Workshop, 2:00pm in the MPR
Set Free Recovery Workshop: How Jesus brings freedom from active addiction.

September 10 • Member Dinner Potluck, 5:00-7:00pm
Save the Date! Our quarterly member dinners provide time to build relationships with each other by sharing a meal, taking the Lord’s Supper, giving church updates, and celebrating what the Lord has done and is doing in the life of Cornerstone.
September 23 • Children’s Hunger Fund Food Pak Event, 9:00-11:00am
This event is for the entire family and will be held at the CHF Sylmar distribution center. We will be filling Food Paks while learning about the needs of the recipients.
Afterward, you are encouraged to visit the Poverty Encounter to see a glimpse of God’s love for the underprivileged. Please plan for 45-60 minutes. Cost is $7. (If this is prohibitive, there is a scholarship fund for Cornerstone.) Kids 5 and under are free. *Note: Lunch will not be provided.

Student Ministries: Impact (Middle School) meets weekly on Tuesday nights, and The Rock (High School) meets weekly on Wednesday nights. Visit our student ministries and events pages for more information on time and location!

We are a multi-ethnic, multi-generational community of disciples, who are seeking to learn from Jesus, trust Jesus, become like Jesus, and help others do the same. Our mission is to give every individual an accurate picture of God by helping those who believe become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Sermon Notes & Community Group Questions
Every week, we provide Community Guides based on each Sunday’s teaching; they include a portion on the Lord’s Supper, a sermon overview, questions for you to discuss as a group, and missionary practices for the week ahead. As your whole community gathers (in-person or online), use the guides to help give shape to your time together.

Interested in becoming a member of Cornerstone? We believe that membership is the commitment to being a disciple and making disciples of others (Matt. 28:18-20) in partnership with the other members and elders of Cornerstone.
Baptism is a physical act and visual representation that communicates the inward change of believers who have come to faith by grace in Jesus Christ. If you’re interested in getting baptized, fill out our form below!
