May 4 • National Day of Prayer
Join us for this opportunity to pray together as a church on National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 4th, from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
We will meet at the flagpole in front of City Hall & Simi Valley Library.
Invite family and friends as we pray for our community, state, and nation.
*Cornerstone Church is joining other groups attending the National Day of Prayer and is not organizing or overseeing this event.
May 7 • Bilingual Service & VBS Bible Skit Auditions
We’re excited to have our first bilingual service on Sunday, May 7th, at 10:00am as we join our English and Spanish-speaking services for a beautiful time of worship, reading God’s word, and taking the Lord’s supper together as one body at Cornerstone.
VBS Bible Skit Auditions: We are so excited for this year's STELLAR VBS (June 26-29), and this year, we're opening up auditions for a variety of roles! If you're interested in auditioning for a role, or volunteering for a support role, please fill out this form.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, May 7th at 12:30pm in the Main Sanctuary. Be sure to bring your own lunch!
May 9 • Monthly Elder Prayer Night , 7:00-8:00 pm
If you are struggling with illness or feel disheartened, overwhelmed, etc., we invite you to join the elders on Tuesday evening in the MPR from 7:00-8:00 pm so that they can pray over you. If you are unable to make it in person, you can submit a prayer request below. We would love to pray for you!

Join us for Pat McCoy’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 13th, at 11:00 am in the Main Sanctuary.

Join us for this year’s STELLAR Vacation Bible School from June 26-29! Click the link below for more information & links to register. Early bird registration lasts through April, and regular registration pricing will be available through May (until we reach full capacity).

June 8-11 • Impact Middle School Summer Camp
Join us this Summer for a weekend of fun in the mountains. We’ll be taking our Middle School students up to Lake Gregory for the afternoon on Thursday, June 8th, and then staying at Thousand Pines Christian Camp for the weekend. There will be paintball, archery, a ropes course, a climbing wall, and a zip line. We will have recreation and craft options available as well as a café and malt shop! We’re excited for this time of worship and fun with our students. All upcoming 6th-8th graders are welcome!

Gatherings

Quarterly Member Dinners: Our quarterly all-member dinners provide time to build relationships with each other by sharing a meal, taking the Lord’s Supper, giving church updates, and celebrating what the Lord has done and is doing in the life of Cornerstone. Learn more about membership here.
Cornerstone Community Groups: We have several community groups that gather each week. If you’re interested in joining a group, see our community page for more information. We’d love to connect with you and get you plugged in!
Student Ministries: Impact (Middle School) meets weekly on Tuesday nights, and The Rock (High School) meets weekly on Wednesday nights. Visit our student ministries and events pages for more information on time and location!

Sermon Notes & Community Group Questions
Every week, we provide Community Guides based on each Sunday’s teaching; they include a portion on the Lord’s Supper, a sermon overview, questions for you to discuss as a group, and missionary practices for the week ahead. As your whole community gathers (in-person or online), use the guides to help give shape to your time together.

Interested in becoming a member of Cornerstone? We believe that membership is the commitment to being a disciple and making disciples of others (Matt. 28:18-20) in partnership with the other members and elders of Cornerstone.
